Privacy policy
How your personal information is collected, used and protected when you use this website or get in touch.
This policy explains how Meltem Calim Counselling ("I", "me") handles personal data, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. I am the data controller for information collected through this website.
What I collect
- Emails: if you email me, I receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Website analytics: anonymous, cookie-free statistics about page visits. No personal profile is built and no cookies are set for analytics.
How I use it
I use your details only to reply to you and, if we agree to work together, to arrange sessions. The lawful basis is your consent and the steps needed before entering into an agreement with you.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to working together are not kept for longer than necessary. Client records are kept securely in line with professional guidance.
Who I share it with
I do not sell or share your data for marketing. Data is stored with trusted service providers (website hosting and email) who process it only on my instructions.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing me. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
