Therapy a short trip from East London

Shoreditch and Hackney are full of energy, and full of people working hard: in tech and start-ups, in creative studios, in hospitality, or freelancing across several projects at once. That kind of working life can be exciting, but it can also be precarious and blur the line between work and everything else.

My room in Farringdon is a short trip west, and many people find it useful to have a little distance between their therapy and the place they live and work. Coming somewhere slightly removed from your everyday surroundings can make it easier to step back and reflect.

What brings people to therapy

People from this part of London often get in touch about anxiety, low mood, burnout, self-esteem, relationships and identity, or feeling stuck at a turning point in life. Some describe themselves as neurodivergent, or are wondering whether they might be, and want a psychotherapist who will take their experience seriously rather than trying to fit them into a mould.

I work with adults individually and with couples. My approach is integrative, combining person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT-informed ways of working, and I go at a pace that feels manageable for you. I am a registered member of the BACP.

A quiet room away from the noise

The therapy room is private, calm and comfortable, a contrast to busy streets and open-plan offices. It is a place to slow down and think, without interruptions.

Flexible ways of meeting

If you work irregular hours, travel for work or simply prefer not to cross London every week, we can meet online by secure video. Some people alternate between the two depending on how their week looks.

Before deciding anything, you are welcome to book an initial consultation to ask questions and get a sense of how I work. You can find details about fees and your first session, or get in touch directly.
